Bitcoin Surpasses $108K, Official Melania Memecoin Soars by 58%

The global Cryptocurrency market reflects a strong momentum, with Bitcoin (BTC) price gaining 3.75%, marking an ATH and surpassing 108K. Major altcoins indicating a positive sign, like Ethereum (ETH), rose by 5.5%, and XRP was up 4.73% on the last day. Solana (SOL) was the only coin that indicated a red signal drop of 1.22% and was trying to recover its market. The crypto market increased 3.50% and stood at  $3.73 trillion, according to the coinmarketcap. 

The Fear and Greed index stood at 58, indicating a natural sentiment. Official Melania Meme (MELANIA) is the top gainer coin, up 46.24% in the past 24 hours. Melania was the first lady of the United States to launch her coin. Fartcoin (FARTCOIN) became the second winning coin on his list, surging 36.82%. Today, this market marks a strong interest in the crypto market. While President Donald Trump, the owner of an official Trump memecoin, was elected earlier, he is set to take the oath of office late tonight.

Bitcoin Price Today & Market Sentiment

The rate of Bitcoin (the First and top digital coin) is up 3%, and it hit $110K ATH for the first time in history. This development comes just before Trump’s inauguration, as the chances of a Bitcoin reserve approval surged to 59% within minutes. According to Polymarket data, the odds jumped significantly from 37% to 59% quickly.

At the time of writing, Bitcoin trading at $107,919.37 surged 3.23% in the last 24 hours. Its market cap reached $2.13 trillion, marking a 3% up the previous day. BTC market volume increased 108.99%, showing investor interest. Bitcoin’s dominance currently stands at 57.47%.

The price surge of bitcoin may have been elect present Donald Trump’s inauguration, while today he took charge. Many investors consider the Trump family to support cryptocurrency, as Trump recently launched her memecoin. However, Charles Hoskinsons, founder of Cardano (ADA), recently revealed on his X post that Trump holds 78.5% of his net worth in crypto.
