The blockchain platform Tezos is well-known for its energy-efficient proof-of-stake mechanism and on-chain governance; despite recent volatility, its native token, XTZ, is beginning to exhibit signs of stability. It has decreased by about 2% in the last week but increased by 1% in the last 30 days, suggesting that it has held up fairly well in spite of the erratic market.
At the moment, XTZ is valued at $0.772815. The cryptocurrency conducted a market capitalisation of $759.79 million and recorded a trading volume of $35.49 million in a 24-hour period. Although its market share is only 0.03%, these numbers indicate a solid foundation for further growth.
In the last 24 hours, Tezos has dipped by just 0.24%. Despite this, market sentiment remains positive. Analysts believe that Tezos’ scalability features and frequent on-chain governance upgrades may drive its value up in the coming months.
Tezos Set To Reach $3.95, Says Analyst
Crypto analyst Jonathan Carter recently shared a bullish outlook on Tezos (XTZ), predicting significant upward movement. XTZ has rebounded from the descending support level at $0.56 despite its downtrend.
This bounce has sparked optimism among traders and analysts, with the price likely to test resistance around $0.95 soon. A breakout above this resistance could trigger a substantial bullish trend, potentially pushing Tezos toward $3.95.
Not all predictions, though, are blatantly optimistic. According to Changelly’s price projection, on July 28, 2024, XTZ could drop by 4.09% and reach a new low. Their research of technical indicators shows that the market attitude is currently 72% bearish, which is largely bearish. At 68, the Fear and Greed Index is currently showing greed in the market.
Carter’s optimistic position on Tezos gives investors hope despite the uncertain future. A significant price increase will occur if Tezos is able to breach these barrier levels, demonstrating the extreme volatility and unpredictability of the cryptocurrency market.
