Xsolla, the payment manager for Roblox, has recently added XRP as a payment option. BitPay facilitates this integration to ensure seamless connections with cryptocurrency wallets.
BitPay, a payment platform on X (formerly known as Twitter), made an announcement on Oct 17. They shared that Roblox, an online gaming platform with over 200 million active users per month, has now started accepting XRP as a payment option.
Roblox can be accessed on various popular platforms, such as Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. It boasts an impressive daily active user base of 65.5 million players, with 44% of them under the age of 13. In just the first quarter of 2023 alone, Roblox players collectively invested a staggering $773 million in in-game purchases.

Moreover, Xsolla actively integrates cryptocurrency into its payment infrastructure. In Aug 2022, the company partnered with Coinchange Financial, an automated crypto management platform, and TradeZing, a live-streaming social Web3 platform.
However, together, they developed a payment solution for non-fungible tokens. Building on this commitment, Xsolla solidified its dedication in Aug 2023 by collaborating with Crypto.com to seamlessly integrate Crypto.com’s checkout solution into Xsolla’s Pay Station platform.
Xsolla and BitPay have been collaborating since 2014, marking the beginning of their acceptance of Bitcoin payments. Continuing this partnership, in September 2023, they introduced PayPal USD payments for both merchants and consumers.
